Just a short note to quickly show you some of the new Sizzix product just in :-). It will be on sale at our shop this weekend in Athlone and up on our NEW website, yes NEW!!!! in two weeks time 🙂 (will tell more next week….!!)
I also want to thank everyone for the comments they left on my facebook page re the passing of my Aunt. I wish to comisserate with anyone who has and is dealing with Cancer right now. Sending light your way.
As some of my friends are running the Dublin City Marathon I am doing the final prep for the Knit and Stitch Show and for thoses who can’t make the show I will be sharing some of the samples with you over the next few days here on my blog, getting exciting now 🙂
A lovely lady I know has become a Tim fan since I met her which may seem even more surprising when you find out she designs and handmakes Wedding headdresses and hats (not Tim’s style I think lol!) It goes to show you what great design can lead to.
Ger is lending us some of her creations to display at the show, to demonstrate the versatility of Sizzix Dies. You have to check out her blog here for some samples….absolutely fabulous…makes me wish I was getting married again lol!
My five year old went Oooooo! when he saw this…a future Philip Treacy maybe???
We will also be announcing the raffle winners for our Knit and Stitch show winners early tomorrow morning so make sure to keep an eye out…it could be you!
We are finally getting back to normal here, Tummy bug has been banished, boxes unpacked, internet back to normal and house kinda tidy lol! It’s the simple things in life 🙂
Anyway I just wanted to share this video I made on the second morning of our CHA Release Party in Athlone at the beginning of this month. We are busy finalising the class details for our Christmas Party (sample of one in the video :-)) and will be sharing all by next week…fa, la, la, la, la…la, la, la, la!
I also wanted to share this pic with you of the cards some of the lovely ladies made in my class yesterday, start of the Christmas Card season!!
The stamp we used was one of Stampendous Cling Stamps – Angelic Gifts and we heat embossed it in different colours. Isn’t it fab, its is one of the new products added to our website here www.createwithkate.com
I am again sitting at my Kitchen table, 5 year old in school, hubbie on the phone, Jasper asleep under my chair, house tidy and cup of tea in hand……What a change!!
It’s not that long ago when my 5 year old would be hopping around the house after being up half the night, the house would be chaos, my hubbie would be in the middle of a lupus flare up and I would be well, the less said about that the better!! Lol!
It’s amazing what a different doctor, second opinion, a change of diet and some sleep will do!!! Not to mention school lol!
I have two sneak peaks to share with you today. The fabulous Mandy (Pink Goose Craft House) is going to demo this gorgeous little mini…not to be missed!
The second pic I have is from a Make and Take happening on Sunday…My wonderfully talented Mum, Kay Hardiman (who I got my creativity from) created this fab card for you to make, just in time for Christmas 🙂
This is only one of the makes and takes…I will have some more sneaky/peaky’s next week. remember all tickets booked before the 3rd october will get a free gift 😉
It’s very exciting and already the feedback is great so it looks like the CHA Release Party is going to be Soooooo… much fun! I have the class timetable finalised and you can see it on our website here (click on the class in the timetable and it will link you to the full description and booking :-))
I also have a brochure / flyer for the event done up so you can see what exactly is happening and you can print it off if you want to share it with your friends or club members. Wouldn’t it be great to see a large turnout for the fantastic classes on offer, so spread the word!
