I got the Prima Lyric Collection off Kate the last time I saw her and knew immediately it was screaming to be made into an album. I went out on a limb because first it was an A4 pad which I wasn’t used to and it was very floral! Having a boy I tend to stay away from floral patterns but I needed to release the inner girly floral for this album!
You got to check out these videos for the “Graphic 45 Place in Time Kit and the Nutcracker kit” that Eve put together for the Create with Kate Christmas Jamboree (Thanks again Eve!)
You can see the finished album as well as the layout and the binding of the album. I should have blogged these links ‘AGES’ ago, Sorry!!! And the Good news is that we have them in stock again if you missed out the first time 🙂 I am hoping to do one of each as Christmas presents for next year !!!
As promised here are some more Sneak Peaks for the Bo Bunny Alora Collection workshop. I just love this collection, it’s full of life and definately brings a little bit of sunshine into any project 🙂
In this workshop you will get to make a fabulous mini album from scratch using chipboard, cardstock and patterned paper. You will also get to make a box to hold it in, which is perfect for displaying on a bookcase or shelf or present as a very special gift. There will also be a bonus project to make, full printed innstructions along with plenty of extras in this gorgeous kit. You can book your place here, So come along and join us on the 1st. Kate x
Hi Girls, as promised here is a sneak peak of the mini album that we will be making as one of the projects on July 1st, (bling, flowers and embellies to be added yet hint, Prima and Tim!!)
It is a 6×6 mini album that you will be making from scratch but don’t worry all the pages will be precut so you can concentrate on the construction method (how cool is that!). This is a great chunky album for your summer pics with 14 pages in all (including covers) so you will have plenty of room to add your 4×6 photos and journaling.
Remember you will also be making a co-ordinating slider box to store your album in and it will look fabulous on any shelf. This would also make a fabulous gift if you can bear to part with it (i know i won’t lol!). So book your kit here
Happy Crafting and chat tomorrow
I’m afraid i’m way behind in my blog posting so expect a lot of entries in the next week :-). I have a card tutorial, some meaurements on covering your Cargo and Trinket cases as well as some photos from the crafting Ireland Crop!
I am currently looking out my Kitchen window at the wintry weather, I have the fire lit and I am trying to get warm! Not Good ;-( I was in Limerick for the last couple of days, visiting my 92 year old Gran who had a stroke a couple of months ago and my Aunt who is in the Hospice there. My Aunt has been battling terminal cancer for the last 12 years and is constantly outwitting the doctors with her sheer will to live, Go Girl!! I also got to spend a lovely evening with the wonderful ladies from the Busy Bees Cardmaking Club who asked me to bring along my mobile shop. I missed Eva’s crop though, my son had a temperature of 102 and wouldn’t let me go :-(. Made me doubly sad when I realised that in another few years he won’t need me anymore. Will definately make it when I am in Limerick again, crop’s are great; you get to make new friends with people who share the same interests not to mention crafting time!!
