Isn’t it just gorgeous! I hope everyone of you in Ireland is getting a chance to get out in the sun! I spent yesterday afternoon on a sandy lake shore with my 3.5 year old. He was buliding sand castles but you should have seen his face when he walked into the water. It may be hot, but the water is freeeeezing!!!!
Getting back to crafty business. I have ironed out the details for the CHA Jamboree on the 15th April and it’s going to be great fun, am sooooo looking forward to it!
Doors will open at 9.30am to 5.30(ish) pm
We will have a demo table set up with lots of goodies for you to play with. Mandy, Anne and Eve (of Crafty Queens fame) will be demoing from here at different times throughout the day, starting from 10am.
Of course there will be crop space for everyone, so bring your favourite goodies and unfinished projects along, and hopefully you will have time to work on them inbetween lol! We will also have challenges with great prizes; in the classroom, crop space and demo area so watch out for those; and finally we will have our Create with Kate Shop with all those lovely CHA releases!

Class 1: 10.30am-12.00: ‘Stamping your way through Tags’ Anne Mullan
Anne Loves stamps and in this class she will teach you some of her favourite stamping techniques to create a gorgeous Tag Book. Anne will show you how get to get fabulous affects using stamps, inks, distress stains and embossing powders. You will have loads in the kit to follow her techniques as well as experiment on your own!
Class 2: 3.30 – 5.00 ‘Pretties’ Inspiration Book and card: Mandy Sheridan
This is another fantastic kit class, with the gorgeous Bo Bunny Collection. In this kit you will get a 6×6 paper pad, die cuts, alphas and more to make a beautiful project with the original crafty angel! You can use the scrappy bits to enter into our ‘Scrap’ challenge!

The event is being held in the Athlone HODSON BAY hotel. This is a gorgeous hotel located on the lakeshore just off the Roscommon road out of Athlone. You can get directions and see the beautiful hotel details here. It is a fabulous location (with a fabulous spa). They are doing B&B for the Sunday night for €49pps or Saturday night is €65pps for those who wish to stay.
