Hello Bloggers and Crafty People!
I have been off line for the christmas period, spending all my time shopping, wrapping and cooking (miserable really lol!, love this time of the year!) Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Santa came to our house and delivered lots of goodies in the form of a “big green tractor and square baler” to a very excited 3.5 year old boy. He also recieved a Fireman Sam scooter which he wasn’t so happy with. He apparently wanted the fire station. So, he decided his cousin Matthew could have it and promptly rewrapped it; 3 year old style!!! lol!
We had the traditional Turkey dinner and I followed Jamie’s Best ever Turkey, Stuffing and Gravy recipes (can be found here)! It was fabulous. But whatever you do, avoid my mistake and cook it before you go to your neighbours house for a Christmas Dwinkie!
Christmas is full of celebrations in our house, as both myself and my other half celebrate our birthdays as well as our wedding anniversary! We were married for better or worse on a snowey day in the grounds of UCG, Galway, Ireland on 29th December 2000! Still enjoying the honeymoon darling!!
I didn’t get to do much crafting over the Christmas, will remedy that in the New Year. I did get to play around with some wrapping paper, ribbons and die cuts. I love wrapping gifts as much as shopping for them!!
However, here is a pic to end the year off on a HIGHly creative note and to kick start the creative juices. It’s an altered Domino that the lovely Anne, created for a swap on the ukstamper.
Wishing you all Peace, Joy and Creativity in 2012
Happy New Year
xxKate, Anne and Mike!
