I was hoping I would get to finish this earlier today but my day job (SAHM) had other plans; who knew that one three year old male child (as adorable as he is) can cause so much havoc!!
Only 5 days to go now, wohoo.. to a full day of crafting fun!
As you all know it’s on in the Athlone Silver Springs hotel, doors open for registration at 10 so have your santa hats and singing voices ready!
10.00 -11.30 Browse, chat, crop or grap a cuppa, whatever your creative side fancies!
11.30 – 12.00: This is the first of the two mini classes: Make a Fabulous Floral Embellishment with Anne: Anne will take you step by step through a technique she invented to make an absolutely gorgeous flower that can be used as an embellishment on any of your craft projects or even as a broach!
12.00 – 3.30: Crop, shop, have lunch, create a challenge project, do a make and take.. again this is your time to get crafty and creative!
3.30 – 4.00: This is the second mini class that is being taught by Timi from Crafting Ireland, and is a scrapbook layout. There will be some very easy but fun techniques involved.
4.45: Challenge submission deadline and Draw.
The only times really that you need to take note of is
10am ..doors open 11.30... First mini class 3.30…Second mini class
Remember, the classes will be fun but are optional so feel free to spend the day whatever way you choose.
We will also be running demos and makes and takes during the day where you will get to see and use some of the new crafting goodies that have been let loose to tempt us! Among them, Anne will be demoing the fabulous new Sizzix and Hero Arts combo sets (preview) and I will be playing around with my heat gun ‘the Frantage way’.
We will have a heat gun station and a big shot (or two) so if you have a favourite folder or die, you think you might use, bring it along. Otherwise just the usual tools and stash that you would normally bring to a crop. if you have a paper tweezers and an old plastic id / credit card (great for scraping glue around) bring them too. For Timi’s class a scoreboard and a photo and photo mat would be useful but don’t worry as there will be enough crafters (and the shop) to sort you out on the day if you forget something!!
The important thing is to bring YOUR SANTA HAT AND SINGING VOICES lol
Ps. Just in case my bleery eyes have missed something, leave a comment or send me an email. Fa, la, la, la, la…..la, la, la, la! See you Sunday (i’ll be the one in the santa suit..you can’t miss me!!)
